I have had over 6 years of tutoring and instruction for clients with an eclectic variety of age grouds and subjects. I am very proficient in all general music theory and received a 5 on my AP Music Theory Exam at El Camino. I also instruct in guitar and piano performance, language and writing (I have been employed with several websites doing both creative and content writing and received a 5 on my AP English Test), and have a very strong background in the hard sciences such as math and physics. My history is very strong as well, having received another 5 for my AP European History class at El Camino Real. My other work experience is extremely eclectic and ranges from business consulting (one of my current positions) to pop culture journalism, physics tutoring, music instruction, ghost writing and editing for independent clients. Although I am a music major I am strongly considering switching over to theoretical physics. Because of the variety of fields that I've been engrossed in, my positive yet professional demeanor, and my ability to be able to connect with my clients so that they are able to integrate the area of study on a level that's more meaningful than just being able to repeat information, I have had excellent success with tutoring. Being able to have that dialogue with people and creatively deduce how to make them relate to the subject is extremely fun, and watching them be able to apply the material from a level of real internal understanding is the most rewarding feeling.
