Experience
My approach to tutoring math, science, and premed is a very unique one: I simplify everything as much as possible, breaking down complex subjects and making them more accessible to students. It works. My students understand the basics more fully by learning this way. And because they comprehend better, their scores on exams are higher too.I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular, cell, and developmental biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. It was there that I started tutoring, while in my freshman year. As I advanced through college and took more classes, I also tutored more subjects. Today I have a lengthy portfolio that includes prealgebra, algebra 1, college algebra, elementary school math, middle school math, precalculus, statistics, biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, biostatistics, MCAT, biochemistry, life sciences, general chemistry, biotechnology, cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, molecular genetics, CHSPE, and test preparation. My experience includes teaching students at all levels. I have taught everyone from young children in kindergarten to adults in college. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends. I also like standup comedy, basketball, and film.
