In addition, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Kenyon. Not only have I taught English and writing in the classroom, I have tutored in three college writing centers and have worked with students with diverse backgrounds and skills, from middle and high school students to developmental college writers to graduate students. I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and have been asked to speak at a conference sponsored by the International Writing Centers Association.

Hobbies
I am a mother of three children, and I love to watch them develop as students, athletes, and all-around good kids. They are pretty much my hobby these days, leaving little time for anything other than work. But I do love to read, listen to music, and go to movies when I do have spare time. Our family is relocating to CA from NY in June, and I am excited for the new adventure!
