Writing Assistant: Kenyon College Writing Center (Gambier, OH); Richland Community College Writing and Reading Center (Decatur, IL); Mercy College (Dobbs Ferry, NY) I received Highest Honors in English from Kenyon College for my undergraduate thesis in minority women's literature. In addition, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Kenyon. Not only have I taught English and writing in the classroom, I have tutored in three college writing centers and have worked with students with diverse backgrounds and skills, from middle and high school students to developmental college writers to graduate students. I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and have been asked to speak at a conference sponsored by the International Writing Centers Association.
