I'm a tutor in the North Hollywood, California area who has experience teaching both middle and high school students. I'm originally from Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia. I'm licensed to teach in both Georgia and California, and have taught a variety of subjects, including biology and oceanography. I'm a firm believer that while every child learns in a different ways, every child is a leaner and can accomplish academic success. I enjoy helping children discover that learning can be fun by creating educational activities, visual aids, quests, and games for my students. I also strive to improve each child's critical thinking skills, because I believe that critical thinking skills are skills that they can apply in future classroom and real-life situations.I tutor students in biology, microbiology, science, chemistry, arithmetic, elementary school math, and middle school math. I also tutor students who are struggling with essay editing, grammar and mechanics, literature, reading, writing, and English. In my free time, there are numerous activities that I enjoy, including singing, listening to music, acting, watching movies, creating art, and completing crafts. I'm also a sports fan, and enjoy playing flag football and basketball.
