I'm currently attending the University of California - Los Angeles for my bachelor of science degree in math. I love math and how it is pervasive throughout every academic subject. As a tutor, I love explaining math and why it is important in our lives. And I never get tired when I'm explain math concepts to students, and it's very satisfying when I can help math concepts click in students head. I've been tutoring students in math through high school and college, and I've helped students learn calculus, algebra one and two, trigonometry, geometry, and college math during that time. I'm also comfortable tutoring students in calculus one through three multivariable calculus, and fundamental math topics at the elementary and middle school levels. I like to help students understand topics and apply their knowledge while they develop problem-solving skills so that they become self-sufficient learners. Overall, my goal is to make myself obsolete to my student. Other interests outside of school include powerlifting, bodybuilding, hiking, listening to music, travel, philosophy, art, and reading.
