I received my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California State University, Northridge. I have plenty of tutoring experience, including many one-on-one situations and also multiple classroom settings. I generally tutor math, starting from elementary school math up to algebra 2, and also geometry. I have a strong love for both science and math. I believe this passion is what allows me to become a well-rounded tutor. I love working with students and helping them learn. I believe that hard work has gotten me far in life. As such, it is always a quality that I like to instill in my students. I will ensure that students work hard to achieve success. I know it is important to be able to enjoy the work you're doing. Knowing this, I always try to make things more enjoyable while tutoring. I believe students have an easier time both learning and staying focused with this approach.In my free time, I enjoy things like hiking, playing a variety of sports, reading, and every once in a while, relaxing and playing some video games.
