Education
I graduated from Yale in 2014 with a double major in Literature and Theater, and I graduated with Distinction in both of my majors. I am a lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation.
Experience
I have years of experience teaching and tutoring SAT's, English and foreign languages. I am passionate about what I do. I have always loved learning as a student, which is why I love teaching and imparting knowledge onto my students. My favorite part of my job is inspiring students and helping them to love learning as much as I do. As an SAT tutor for Critical Reading and Writing, I focus on vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar and essay writing. I review essays and provide feedback. I provide all material for my sessions. I provide students with handouts, and we do exercises together. Tutoring with me is fun, as I love what I do! One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is when a parent or client tells me that I've not only made a difference in my student's academics but also in his or her confidence. I also have an office located in North Hollywood where I hold tutoring sessions if that is not too far from you. Otherwise, we can hold sessions at a different location :)
