EducationBowdoin College - B.A., Psychology
ExperienceI was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, I went on to attend The Roxbury Latin School. From there, I enrolled at Bowdoin College, where I studied Education and Psychology. I am currently teaching in Los Angeles but have taught in Washington D.C. and Boston. I am constantly looking for ways to develop professionally. My most recent endeavor to develop my professional skills led me to a fellowship at the Klingenstein Center at the Teachers College at Columbia University. Whether you need help with writing and reading, preparing for your standardized test, looking to sharpen up for your next academic year, or hone your skills in general, I would love to help!I have had over six years of experience teaching in a classroom. I have taught subjects such as English, Latin, science, history, and human development to students in fifth through ninth grade. Not only do I love teaching, but I love working with children in general. My love for working with children is reflected in my experiences. I have worked as a program director and camp counselor. I have also been a dorm parent, advisor, and coached track & field, football, and basketball. It doesn't matter if I am teaching, tutoring, or coaching, I always bring enthusiasm, energy, and passion to the table when teaching my students the skills they need to reach their goals.
